If I am going to talk dinner parties I should mention the cooking part. I love cooking but I am not a pro. For me, it is all about the activity and drinking a glass of wine. I don’t like to measure unlike my friend Kelli who has to measure everything exactly. A little this and a little that usually works for cooking. It does not work well for baking which is why I am an awful baker. Can’t get the flour thing right and baking at altitude is hard enough. You just need a friend like Dana who whips up fabulous cakes. All that being said here is my secret to serving a fabulous meal…www.epicurious.com. I pick the recipes with the highest ratings and most reviews. Lots of reviews are key. I am not interested in recipes with only a few reviews. The people who post reviews usually change the recipes a bit like me so I can relate. And there you have it.
I don’t have any great photos of me or my friends whipping up a gourmet meal in the kitchen so I have added more photos of table settings which as you may be guessing is my favorite part of the dinner party.
